Clinch Valley Medical Center Welcomes Its First Baby Born in 2017

Clinch Valley Medical Center welcomed its first baby born in 2017 on New Year’s Day.

Kelly Salyers of Lebanon, VA gave birth to a baby boy named Sunset Luke Wyatt Salyers. Sunset was born at 2:25 p.m. He weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces, and was 18 ¾ inches long.

Nursing Supervisor, Dolores Mulkey, presented the family with a basket of essentials that was made by volunteers at Clinch Valley Medical Center in preparation for the first baby to be born in the New Year.
