Clinch Valley Health is pleased to announce that Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist Kenneth Sternberg, D.O. has joined its medical staff.

Dr. Sternberg earned his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Sternberg specializes in a range of services including diagnostic testing, pacemaker placement, interventional cardiology, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, holter monitoring, heart failure and catheterizations.

In addition to his expertise in cardiology, Dr. Sternberg has a passion for treating venous disease. He previously opened a vein clinic on Lake Oconee in Georgia, where he treated both superficial and deep venous conditions.

Life outside of the office and catheterization lab at Clinch Valley Medical Center, Dr. Sternberg enjoys spending time with his wife Angelica Pena and their children. They have a blended family including seven boys, two dogs and two Persian cats. As a family they enjoy traveling and are avid golfers.
