Awards and Trophies for car category winners
RICHLANDS, VA - Clinch Valley Health welcomed hundreds of local community members to its first ever "Clinch Valley 500" Car Show & Health Fair, a community event held in recognition of June being Men's Health Month that combined classic cars, preventative healthcare, and family fun in collaboration with Street Kings.
The inaugural event was a tremendous success, featuring more than 100 cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles from across Southwest Virginia and the surrounding region. Car enthusiasts gathered to showcase their vehicles while visitors enjoyed a morning of community fellowship, health education, and wellness resources.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to connect with Clinch Valley Health providers and staff at their booths, learn about available healthcare services, and receive valuable information on preventive care and healthy living. The event also highlighted the importance of routine screenings and early detection, especially for men's health concerns who typically put off investing in their own health.
The car show concluded with an awards presentation recognizing standout vehicles in multiple categories, celebrating the craftsmanship and dedication of the owners who participated. The overwhelming turnout and enthusiastic participation from both exhibitors and attendees helped make the inaugural Clinch Valley 500 a memorable event for the community.
Clinch Valley Health extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who entered a vehicle, attended the event, visited the health fair booths, and supported the day's activities. The organization also recognizes the many employees, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, judges, and community partners whose hard work and dedication made the event possible.
As a rural healthcare provider, Clinch Valley Health remains committed to finding creative ways to connect with the community while encouraging healthy lifestyles and preventive care. The success of the first annual Clinch Valley 500 reflects that commitment and reinforces the hospital's mission of Making Communities Healthier.
Following the enthusiastic response from participants and attendees, Clinch Valley Health looks forward to building on this year's success and welcoming the community back for the Second Annual Clinch Valley 500 next year.
