Lifepoint Division II Leadership Visits Clinch Valley Medical Center

RICHLANDS, VA - Clinch Valley Medical Center recently welcomed members of Lifepoint Health’s new Division II leadership team for a visit focused on strengthening partnerships, engaging with caregivers, and learning more about the exceptional work taking place throughout the organization.

On Tuesday, Bob Barrett, Bill Ziesmer, and Caryn Iverson visited the hospital for a comprehensive tour of the facility, meeting with several department leaders and staff members along the way. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight Clinch Valley Medical Center’s commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare while showcasing the dedicated teams who make that mission possible every day.

Throughout the tour, Division II leadership visited multiple clinical and support departments, learning more about the hospital’s services, current initiatives, and ongoing efforts to improve the patient experience. Department leaders shared insights into their teams’ accomplishments, discussed opportunities for continued growth, and highlighted the collaboration that drives quality care across the organization.

“We were honored to welcome Bob, Bill, and Caryn to Clinch Valley Medical Center,” said Peter Mulkey, Chief Executive Officer of Clinch Valley Medical Center. “Their visit gave us an opportunity to showcase the incredible work our employees do every day while engaging in meaningful conversations about how we can continue to strengthen the care we provide to our community.”

Leadership visits such as these help foster collaboration between local hospitals and Lifepoint Health leadership, encouraging the exchange of ideas and reinforcing a shared commitment to operational excellence, quality outcomes, and patient-centered care.

During the visit, the Division 2 leadership team also had the opportunity to recognize the dedication of Clinch Valley Medical Center’s caregivers and thank department leaders for their ongoing commitment to serving patients throughout Southwest Virginia.
